Based on the i.MX35 product family from NXP (formerly Freescale), this SOM was specially developed for industrial applications and equipped with a wealth of interfaces that are used in the industrial sector. Additionally, a multimedia interface allows for easy integration of graphical user interfaces.
The ECUcore-iMX35 (embedded control unit) has also been realized as PLC variant for OpenPCS and CODESYS.
